Online Virtual Event

WIE SF Bay Area is excited to welcome back the Frontline Catalysts’ Climate Justice Leadership Program, in Part 2 of our series on empowering youth to take action on local environmental issues and make positive change.  This time, we will hear from sixth-to-eighth graders who participate in the program.  These inspiring environmental leaders will present their findings from a science project on lead-contaminated soil in Oakland’s Fruitvale district, and also discuss how they are bringing greater environmental awareness to their community at large.

This is Part 2 in a series with Frontline Catalysts’ Climate Justice Leadership Program, where youth participants will talk about their community science project on lead contamination in Oakland’s Fruitvale District. The first part of the series was in November 2021 and can be read about here.

Thanks to the event sponsors: Jacobs (Platinum sponsor) , Arcadis (Gold sponsor), and Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt (Gold sponsor)
