WIE Leadership Opportunities

Women in the Environment (WIE) welcomes passionate, collaborative professionals in the environmental field who are committed to advancing the mission of the organization. Those who bring curiosity, dedication, and a willingness to engage with a network of like-minded peers are essential to our continued impact. Together, we are building a diverse, inclusive community that empowers women in the environmental profession to thrive. Leadership roles offer valuable professional development at every career stage.

National Board Members help guide WIE’s strategic direction, champion our mission, support sponsorship and fundraising efforts, and foster organizational growth. Chapter Board Members deliver high-quality programming for WIE’s growing network by leading and supporting Committee Chairs (Professional Development, Mentoring, and Networking). They recruit and mentor new board members and actively promote WIE’s vision to expand membership and strengthen a dynamic, supportive community.
